I think we need to talk

2022 &

I think we need to talk is an interactive performance with lots of wool and few words. You are invited to find your place within the pink woollen universe unfolding before your eyes. In this collective experience, you knit yourself into a story of connection. Through a pink thread, Collectief Elan(d) sets generations in motion, interweaving and tying them together.

Before each performance, an open workshop takes place in public space or in a neighbourhood or cultural centre. These workshops are conceived and hosted in collaboration with Manoeuvre. Many hands contribute to expanding this pink universe. By knotting, crocheting, and finger-knitting together, a completely new woollen sculpture emerges – one that continues to grow throughout the tour. Each workshop leaves behind its own trace. Here, the process and the encounter are central.
