Lucky Shots is a wink to the human desire to be superhuman. In its search for an answer to gravity, Woest discovers a new freedom. Their failures grow into strategies. The result is a fragmented performance. The viewer is overwhelmed with slides of life, streams of accidents, absurd images, and banal situations. They challenge gravity with grotesque exaggerations, unexpected turns, surprising twists, and concentrated force. The laws of gravity are undeniable, but within the theatrical framework of Lucky Shots, the five performers set their own rules.
