WILD by French theatre maker Anne Thuot is a research project into creating a direct and surprising theatre experience for young audiences (12+): an unexpected encounter in their own classroom.

When the teenagers return to their classroom after recess, they find the space turned upside down by a solitary creature. What is it? Where does it come from? It immediately disrupts the school routine. What follows is a cautious exploration: somewhere between a theatrical installation, a suspenseful story and an open conversation.

WILD confronts young people with their ideas about otherness and sexuality, disrupts familiar patterns of thought and stimulates the imagination. WILD was originally created with a French-speaking cast and performed during Mons 2015. Anne Thuot is now working on a Dutch-language version with five young theatre makers. The first showing takes place during Krokusfestival 2016.
